It seems like the cheer season will never end.  It is almost as long as hockey season.  We start at the end of summer and go right through until the end of April.  Our families see us less than our cheer friends but when it comes to an end, tears are shed and we all feel sort of lost.  Once the tears are wiped away our next question is what are we going to do with all our time now that cheer season is done??

Here are some fun ideas you can try to pass some time this summer.

Learn Something New

Take summer photography or computer course and learn a new skill.  There are lots of short courses that are so inexpensive at your local school.camera

Take a Day-Cation

Sometimes the hidden treasures are right in front of your eyes.  Pick a local tour spot and spend some time touring your home town.

Host a Girls Spa Party

Plan a girls day full of fun home spa activities. You can make some homemade products, paint your nails with colored acrylic powder from Glitterbels, or even ask one of your local sales rep over to display some jewelry products and earn some free gifts for hosting a show.spa day

Plant a Garden

A perennial flower garden will provide many years of enjoyment since perennials repeat each year; no replanting required! The key to a perennial garden is careful selection of plants, so we’ve given careful consideration to your plant list as well as plot plan.LadiesMantleblooms

Not only do perennials keep coming back, but also long-flowering perennials can contribute color for two months or longer. Attractive leaves, showy seed heads, and fetching foliage add even more interest. For early color, add daffodils, crocus, and other spring bulbs.  Its a gift that keeps on giving.
